Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Fabulous!
Spent our 3 night Easter break totally relaxing at this gorgeous place. The views of the estuary are delightful from the sitting room, kitchen and one of the bedrooms and then there’s your own little balcony too. Enjoyed woodland walks from the doorstep and the dog especially loved a little swim in the estuary. The house is clean and well equipped with comfortable beds. We ate locally at The Brewery in Cosheston (best to book well in advance) and in Pembroke and also had no trouble ordering take-away. Tesco and Aldi near by if required. Location is excellent for visiting Manorbier beach, Freshwater East, Saundersfoot or Tenby etc. The hostess is friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be returning to this little gem of a house.

We need to keep this place to ourselves ok !!
For the 3rd Time in less than 12 months I’ve just returned from reach ... the cottage itself is stunning with two double good size bedrooms, a large kitchen, well equipped bathroom and a lounge from which you step out onto MY balcony !! If you love peace and tranquility and enjoying a pint outside whilst watching boats come up and down the river and birds singing then this is definitely for you ! Life is not frantic at Oyster Cottage bit within 20 minutes you have your choice of beaches such as Freshwater East , Angle, Barafundle and across to Broad Haven Suzie is fantastic and answers any queries promptly We need to keep this place to ourselves ok .. otherwise others will want to book .. you won’t be disappointed !!

Lovely setting
Oyster Reach is perfectly situated, overlooking the water in a very peaceful setting. It was well equipped, comfortable and felt homely. A great base to explore Pembrokeshire. One evening we went to The Brewery Inn at Cosheston, the hospitality and food there is just amazing, would highly recommend. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend at Oyster Reach and for the price would definitely come back, extremely good value for money. Thank you

A perfect holiday cottage with stunning views
We booked a 4 night stay at the end of May. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The fridge/freezer, china, bedroom lamps etc. have been updated and the website pictures do not do it justice. The early morning views from the bedroom across the estuary were really lovely. Seals swam past one morning. The local pub is a brisk half hour walk from the cottage. Their food is pub grub and the portions are enormous. We shared plates. The coastline is dramatic and the beaches amazing. Tenby was great for pictures across the harbour at morning high tide. We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage for a complete break. We spoke to Suzie once and she was very helpful and welcoming.

Luckiest Lockdown Find of 2020
There are times when fate smiles upon you and a late night search on TripAdvisor dug up pure gold. The pictures and reviews looked solid and we needed a much deserved break from home. We arrived mid evening to see the stunning view across the water and just and admired the horizon for a while before having a brief walk around the area, some dinner and a sit down in front of the log fire. Everything was as you'd expect and i will certainly consider booking here again!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location
We stayed at Oyster Reach last week of July, having stayed as a large group at Four Ashes a few years ago. It was lovely to return to stay in such a stunning location overlooking the Cleddau estuary. The 2 bedroom cottage was beautiful and spacious, had everything we needed and was spotless. As Four Ashes was unoccupied we were lucky to be able to use the indoor pool and tennis courts which the kids absolutely loved. It's a tranquil location with the most stunning views where you can just switch off and relax. There are also plenty of shops and supermarkets a few minutes drive away if needed. We would definitely return. Thanks Suzie for being a great host and we will hopefully be visiting again soon.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location
The location of Oyster Reach is perfect, just a short distance from Cosheston with stunning views up the river. The house was clean and very comfortable, and everything you might need is provided. Bedding, towels and kitchen equipment were all of good quality. My Mum lives near Pembroke and we visit frequently, usually staying at her house, but given the current situation we weren't comfortable with that and we were looking for accommodation close by so we could visit as soon as the Welsh Government allowed. From the first contact Suzie couldn't have been more helpful, she was very responsive, even sending a message on our first evening to check that everything was OK. There are some lovely walks from the front door - perfect for walking the dog first thing in the morning, before returning to the cottage for breakfast on the terrace whilst enjoying that view. The stunning beaches and coastline of Pembrokeshire are just a short drive away. If you're looking for peace, quiet and tranquility you can't go wrong with this lovely cottage.

Excellent again
This was my second visit to Oyster Reach and I must say I was full of excitement, which was absolutely right. The location is simply stunning. I can't think of many better views in the morning. We visited during Storm Dennis, which was not a problem. We ended to a beach each day to see it in it's full glory. This is a beautiful house. It's kitted out with everything you need, including a welcome pack. I asked for more logs and they were delivered the next day and each contact from Suzie the owner was prompt and friendly. It is suitable for many beaches both north and south Pembrokeshire. They drives are just lovely. The local pub is literally 3 minutes by car. Pembroke Dock for food shopping is just 10. Can't wait to return again, this time with better weather. Thank you Suzie.

Could be spectacular
This property has the potential to be spectacular but unfortunately it needs refreshing in some places and the outside area is poorly maintained. The sitting out area needs a good sweep and the BBQ has seen better days, now being overgrown with brambles. The house would benefit from internal recycling bins and removal of the cobwebs inside the house would be a good idea. The external recycling area for Oyster Reach and Four Ashes is a joy for animals and the local dog to forage which can be seen from the property’s living room. The location of this house is its biggest selling point and the views are breathtaking, it’s just a shame the house doesn’t offer the same joy.

Great place to relax
Just outside Cosheston, a tranquil setting. Great walks on your doorstep for you and the dog.Or sit watching life go by on the river. The Brewery Inn , down the road does great food and shops are close by. Walk on the shore line at low tide or go early and see the seals
