Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Highly recommend
Amazing week away. We didn't want to come home! Definitely going back. River a couple of minutes walk. Great location. Bernie and Yan were awesome and welcomed us like family, including our dog. Peaceful with a lively pub a minute away. Caravan was clean and had everything you need. They even had tea, coffee and milk! Loved it.

Lovely holiday base.
This is a return visit for us - we stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much we came back .
It's a lovely peaceful rural location, close by river, yet only a few minutes drive from Bala.
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and can offer suggested destinations if required.
Caravan is not new but is comfortable, warm and clean, and contains all the basics from bedding and towels, to maps and magazines, to basic toiletries, cleaning supplies, and tea/coffee/sugar etc.
Water is from a mountain spring which makes a nice change.
This is a great location whether you want a quiet retreat, or a good touring base for mid and north-west Wales - besides the tiny mountain roads we found, and historic sites, we particularly enjoyed Black Rock Sands beach as it's spectacular, and you can drive right along it to find plenty of space for dog walking off lead if you wish to.
There is a village pub a couple of hundred yards away which does adequate pub grub if you want to eat out without having to drive there, or a variety of shops, restaurants, and take-aways in nearby Bala town.

Lovely caravan, in a beautiful area
We are a family of 5.
Ideally located for Bala, being just a short, scenic drive into the town.
The caravan is basic but reasonably well appointed. It was immaculately clean when we arrived and we were even treated to a tray of cupcakes! Yan and Bernie were very friendly. There are some lovely walks in the area. There is a pub, The Bryntirion Inn, a 2 minute (max) walk away, where there is a pool table, darts and games to keep you and the children entertained. Downside, the caravan bedrooms are small, with little room to move in them and not much storage space, however, this would not stop us returning.
Thank you.

Perfect break
The static caravan was spotlessly clean and even warm upon arrival, as the owners had thoughtfully put the heater on in advance for us.
We found it well equipped with just about everything guests could need, including bedding and towels, and even basic cleaning and toiletry items.
The owners, Yan and Bernie, were very friendly and happy to chat or offer advice. They also brought us cupcakes, which were delicious!
The area was lovely, in a rural location near Bala lake, with the caravan itself being sited between the river and the edge of the small village.
It was an easy walk along the track from the farm to the village road, (but a torch may be handy at night), and from there to the Pub - the Bryntirion Inn - a few yard away, which provided a warm welcome, log fire, and excellent evening meals. It is a dog-friendly pub.
All-in-all we found it an excellent base for exploring the spectacular landscapes and history of Wales and Anglesey, and would be happy to return to stay there again.

Lovely
Had a lovely weekend in this Bala caravan. Although on the edge of Snowdonia, it's still close enough for visiting all over, as the drives through are just as enjoyable as the stops. The caravan was both clean and cosy, and the hosts were a lovely couple who popped by the caravan with enough cupcakes to feed a kids party. They were delish, though. We're already considering going back for our next trip. ♥♥

We had an amazing stay in the caravan! There was plenty space for the 6 of us. We were spoilt with the yummy selection of cupcakes and friendly greetings by the owners. Waking up to the chirping birds and the sound of the river was a lovely start to every day. The caravan was clean and very comfy for our 5 night stay. We'd definitely return in the future and recommend to anyone.

Cosy Caravan
I stayed here with 3 friends, it was clean, cosy and we were even treated to cakes on arrival. If you are looking for no frills base on a budget then look no further! I would return without hesitation!
