Dream Vacation
We stayed at Casa Al Mar in July 2024 with 7 adults and 7 tweens/teens. Our stay was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The staff, house, and location are nothing short of 5 stars. Our family travels quite regularly, this was the first family vacation that I was able to vacation WITH my kids. I didn’t have to worry about a thing - no planning, no cooking, no cleaning, absolutely nothing. The staff took care of EVERYTHING for everyone!! We have truly never experienced anything like it!
Upon inquiring about availability for our group of 14, Giovanna was a delight to work with when booking. She made the whole process so easy, breaking down and managing costs for each party, communicating expectations, managing room assignments, dietary needs, and even checking on us when a hurricane was headed to Texas! The personal service she provided made me realize we were in for a treat! She and manager, Javier were at the airport to greet my parents and set them up comfortably at a restaurant while they waited for our flight to arrive. Travel to the boat dock was quick and easy, as was our boat ride to the island. We were welcomed by the owners, Mr. and Mrs. McNab which was a nice and unexpected surprise!
Upon arrival to the house, Fannie and Trisha greeted us with delicious appetizers and beverages. We were all pleasantly surprised to find personalized tumblers in our rooms that made for awesome souvenirs - such a great touch! Every meal was delicious and the staff did a wonderful job of letting us set our meal schedules. Kuddos to the chef, as my picky teens devoured so many new dishes and are still raving about them! Trisha is a pro behind the bar. She makes a delicious pineapple cocktail. ☺️
Captain Armando, Denroy, and Candace took us on countless memorable adventures! These three are THE professionals. We learned so much about Belize, the ecosystem, saw manatees, dolphins, so many beautiful fish and coral. We swam with nurse sharks and stingrays, drop fished for HOURS (my teen boys are obsessed with fishing now 😅). We visited the most beautiful sandbar for an afternoon of swimming, football, and playing. We kayaked, spent the afternoon in Caye Caulker, and toured the mangroves. The staff was so attentive to everyone’s needs - staying close to those that weren’t strong swimmers while snorkeling to ensure everyone had a great experience, changing plans when our very sunburned and tired family decided to pivot on our itinerary, being available for our kids when they decided night fishing was a must (baiting hooks for each of them for what seemed like forever and untangling many tangled lines - THANK YOU JUNIOR!!).
Our last night, we were surprised with a beautiful “farewell dinner” outside. We dined and danced into the night and the staff truly became family. I could go on and on about this magical place. Do not hesitate to book here, as it is truly a once in a lifetime experience. That said, we’re already planning our next visit to Casa Al Mar!!

All-inclusive, upscale, off the grid house perfect for a group trip!
Our stay at Casa Al Mar was beyond exceptional. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for groups looking for a truly all-inclusive, upscale, off the grid experience with a large, very attentive and friendly staff taking care of everything.
St. George's Caye is a very small island and throughout our stay we only saw a few other people so it was almost as if we had it all to ourselves.
The staff kept us busy every day with activities (snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, etc.), fabulous meals, and great drinks! We were in need of some special accommodations (dietary and physical) and the staff went out of their way to ensure that those needs we met.
Casa Al Mar is a true paradise!

Perfect stay in every way!
From the moment my friends and I arrived at Casa Al Mar every activity, meal, and detail was taken care of by their amazing, caring, friendly staff throughout our stay. We truly were treated like family in this beautiful private home on a private island with ocean breezes flowing through it day and night. It was the perfect place to truly getaway from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy the company of friends without worrying about a thing. We literally cried when we left and can’t wait to plan a trip back.

Best girls trip ever!
The staff at Casa Al Mar doesn't compare to any all inclusive places I have ever experienced. I recently stated at Casa Al Mar for 5 days on a girls trip/retreat. We were treated like queens the entire stay! A personal chef that makes amazing Belizian dishes for every meal, full time bartender tending to the guests all day, along with a boat captain & excursion director that introduced us to many Belize & island experiences. It was truly an amazing trip!

Wonderful vacation at Casa Al Mar
Casa Al Mar and its staff helped us create so many amazing memories on our vacation! From the moment we arrived we felt at home as the entire staff was incredibly attentive as well as being so warm and friendly. And they were so accommodating and safety conscious as well…from setting up a crib for our 1 yr old to accompanying our 77 yr old mother on a snorkel around the coral gardens to ensure she was safe and felt comfortable in the ocean. We felt taken care of and pampered at every moment. We enjoyed lounging on the docks with their gorgeous ocean views and snorkeling off the dock and Kayaking trips around the mangroves. We had wonderful trips to the sandbar and the coral garden where we snorkeled and were provided with beverages and snacks. Our guide escorted us on a Maya temple excursion, a cave tubing excursion and a snorkeling excursion with sharks and stingrays as well.
Our dive master, DanRoy was incredible. He was patient, professional and made the dive’s exceptional for all us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying at Casa Al Mar!

All inclusive private paradise!
A true all inclusive paradise for the young and old. We took our four tween/teen kids and our 90 year old grandparents. Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock into the clear water and seeing what sea life was nearby (we watched Eagle rays and pelicans swim near the dock)! We were constantly entertained. Included excursions like fishing with our very own boat captain, swimming with stingray/ sharks, and hand feeding tarpon brought the biggest laughs and smiles. Kayaking at sunset and snorkeling at the reefs was breathtaking and peaceful. Our boat ride to Caye Caulker gave us a sense of local culture. We added on the discover scuba class. Our dive master, Pablo, was patient and professional. We saw several sharks, barracuda, a sea turtle, coral and many fish. The entire staff was genuine but professional, and they were always attentive to our needs. Rojer, our bartender, came with us on any excursion to serve drinks and snacks! He spoiled us all. The chef encouraged our kids to try new local foods he was preparing. The house itself was full of character. There are some stairs (it’s 3 stories), but we kept our elderly grandparents on the main floor where the patio was to minimize need for them. Hammocks are plentiful for naps and enjoyed by all. If there’s a con, it would be the lack of a sandy beach at the house. However, you won’t miss it. It is shallow (one foot) and clear if you or your kiddos want to step in off the bulkhead. We had the island to ourselves. No cars or golf carts here. Kids could climb coconut trees and drink fresh coconut water from coconuts prepared from the yard. Keep in mind, the house is solar, so showers can be cool. However, no one minded a cool shower in Belizean paradise. They had WiFi for downtime and for taking the required COVID tests to get home to the US (I recommend taking your own Binax Now kits and testing there through emed.com so you don’t have to go into Belize City). We can’t say enough wonderful things about Casa Al Mar.

When the area known as Belize was first settled, the early inhabitants chose St. George’s Caye as its capital in the 1700’s. St. George’s Caye played a crucial role in the early settlement of modern-day Belize. A national holiday is celebrated each year in remembrance of the Battle of St. George’s Caye on September 10th, 1798. You can find a canon monument on the island to honor this battle. In 2009, the island and its surroundings were designated a National Historic Landmark.
Over the years, St. George’s Caye has kept its authenticity and charm of true island living. The island consists mainly of private homes whose owners make the island the weekend escape.
