Lovely accommodation in a tranquil riverside hamlet. <BR><BR>Spacious luxury for 2 or ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4 <BR><BR>La Grange 1867 is a newly converted (2012) gite in the centre of our old barn built in 1867.<BR><BR>It has been sympathetically restored with stone walls and exposed timbers.<BR><BR>Both bedrooms have an ensuite shower room with basin and W.C.<BR><BR>Furnishings are a mixture of old French and modern with up to date facilities.<BR>

This gite is amazing! Not only is it well-appointed and comfortable, the warm welcome we received made us feel right at home. We have just spent a week in this lovely Gite run by Sue and George. First up, I have to say they have done most of the work themselves - and it is stunning. Everything is perfect. The River Vezere is just 50 yards away across our own meadow. The village is a lovely walk along the river bank or 2 minutes by car for your daily baguette. There is also a butcher, small grocery store with a tabac/cafe and an excellent restaurant. Large supermarkets are about 5 K distant.<BR><BR>You will enjoy a wonderful vacation exploring beautiful chateaux and castles, sampling the local gourmet delights and wine, you can visit our great street markets with their wonderful fresh produce and every weekend there is a flea market in a town nearby.<BR>There is fantastic walking and cycling, swimming and tennis at the local chateau, canoeing and thousands of castle steps to climb! <BR>We would love to have you visit.
