The apartment is located on the hill near La Cumbre hotel which means that it is refreshingly cooler than the port with the welcome breeze you get there. Nick met us as arranged and was very friendly and helpful having set up the WIFI connection etc and explained everything to us as he showed us round the apartment. The apartment...

We spent six days here and enjoyed it immensely. The apartment is very well furnished with plenty of equipment if you want to cater for yourselves although the restaurants were very good. The position at the crest of a hill had wonderful sea views but obviously also means you have to walk uphill to reach it from town, no problem...

Perfect 7 night holiday, in q perfect and ideal apartment. It ticked all the correct boxes that we need it to and was overall a brilliant apartment. About the neighbourhood
The small coastal town of Puerto de Mazarron has much to offer with regards to local amenities. The supermarkets and fish market (5 minutes walk) stock a wide variety of local produce (fruit and vegetables, meats, wines, and fish caught the same day), and the Sunday market is one of the best in the region and is only a 2 minute walk from the apartment. There are plenty of shops and places of historical interest along with 2 outstanding marinas, the larger of which was totally renovated in 2009 and now has a modern and tasteful promenade along with many waterside cafés, bars, shops and ice cream parlours.<BR><BR>Cafe/bars and restaurants of all varieties are plentiful with an abundance of tapas opportunities or Chinese, Indian, Italian and Spanish cuisine to name but a few. Out of season we would recommend a car to allow yourselves that extra flexibility. In season, there's more than enough to entertain locally and the weather is all but guaranteed with 300 days sun a year.
