We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday in this lovely apartment. Plenty of space for all, we particularly loved the balcony/terrace which was perfect for sunset dinners.
Location great, plenty of bars/restaurants nearby but a lovely short walk away is definitely recommended for even more and the beaches ( it is a hilly walk back which we didn’t mind )
The complex is great and the reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Communication with the owner Kirsty was excellent and very reassuring.
We would definitely recommend and like to return in the future.

Had a fab holiday and would love to return to the EL Marques.
Apartment in a perfect location for us ,beautiful views of Los Gigantes cliffs.
Very spacious patio with lots of seating and sun beds, which caught the sun all day.
Having use of the pool , .you could always get a sunbed and umberella for some shade.
The club house was great for a snack and Happy hour drink, lots of seating areas and a small library for a book.
Apartment was spacious and the kitchen had plenty of utensils.
Some steps and a small slope to get to the apartment which kept us fit but worth it for the views.
Kirsty was very helpful and getting the key from the reception was simple.

Perfect Easter break in the sun
We stayed at Villa 109 for a week over Easter. It was our first time staying at El Marques but we have been to this area a number of times over the last 10 years staying at various hotels. We love this part of Tenerife as it is very picturesque with great views out to La Gomera. This villa was a great find - comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. It is a quiet location as the villas are set back from the pool area and this villa also has a large sun terrace with loungers and a seating area. It is just a few minutes' walk to the pool and residents bar/restaurant area and other amenities including games area, tennis courts etc. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the resort has a good size pool with a life guard on duty and plenty of comfortable sunbeds and parasols but you must remember to use the blue resort towels provided by the villa when you are at the pool or you will be moved! The resort is a short walk to Los Gigantes town (5 mins) with plenty of choice of bars and restaurants both in Los Gigantes and the surrounding areas. The area is very hilly but the views are worth it! There are two large supermarkets (Lidl and Super Dino) within a few minutes' walk of the villa complex and the area is well connected with taxi ranks and regular bus services. You can also pre-book and pay for airport taxis at reception which was useful. Another useful tip - you can run a bar tab at the restaurant/pool bar - which you an do either daily or weekly and the prices are very reasonable. Kirsty was also very helpful in answering any queries we had. We had a great holiday and will definitely be booking again.

Home from home
I reviewed Kirstie's lovely apartment following our stay in September. Our return was just as enjoyable. Again, spotlessly clean and well presented . Blissfully quiet. A couple of minor blips with 2 electrical items which were very quickly and efficiently resolved . Add to that some excellent weather and a friendly welcome wherever you go . Perfect for my wife and I. We will, hopefully, be able to return again soon.

A great find.
The best recommendation that you can give a holiday apartment is the fact that you would return without hesitation. We are going back in January !
Contact with Kirsty was truly first class from first to last . Her property is within a managed complex which is extremely well maintained and ideally located within Los Gigantes. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and a minor problem with blowing fuses was dealt with very quickly. The apartment was spotlessly clean and larger than the photos suggest. Absolutely ideal for 2 of us but equally so for a larger family too. It was blissfully quiet and very comfortable. The view from the terrace improves the taller you are but it is a sunny and relaxing area. The pool area is excellent. Occasionally quite busy but there was never a shortage of space or loungers. The pool itself was lovely, beautifully clean with a lifeguard on duty at all times.
Everything is within comfortable walking distance and the hills are great for fitness ! Eating out is a pleasure but evenings in, cooking for ourselves and enjoying a glass of wine ( or 3 ) was delightful too.
For any review to be credible, the negatives have to be identified too. The wifi can be a bit iffy and a couple of the kitchen drawers have a mind of their own ! That's it !! All smiles and all positive for us. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Comfortable apartment and an enjoyable stay
Villa 109 is very spacious and comfortable with a large balcony. Two supermarkets are very close together with other shops. We had a very enjoyable stay and were able to travel around using the service buses.

Great location shame about apartment
The apartment is in a great location, great pool and fabulous friendly staff it also has a good size balcony for at least 6 people. Sadly the cleanliness of the apartment was poor, the bathrooms had cracked tiles and dirty shower cubicle, the bath had a complete corner painted and siliconed where a large piece was missing. Doors to rooms didn’t close, and decor was badly damaged. Electrics also kept blowing, however reception dealt with this promptly after reporting. All in all this apartment is tired and needs a revamp and some care and attention.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you seemed to find a number of things wrong with the apartment. I personally was there in November to paint and clean and there was no problem then with the decor or doors. I personally cleaned shower thoroughly - we have had no previous accounts of the apartment being left unclean by the housekeeper. We have plans to replace the bath after the busy period. I am very pleased that you found the location, balcony, pool and staff so accommodating and trust that you enjoyed your holiday. Kind regards,

Los Gigantes is a small town characterised by the massive cliffs which border the town to the North-West. The town is noted for the quality and variety of both its shops, restaurants and bars.
There is a lovely marina from which boat trips can be booked to see the schools of dolphins and pilot whales in the bay or just to sail alongside the huge cliffs. The water is renowned for its clarity and variety of fish and attracts scuba divers throughout the year. Diving instruction is readily available and other water sports such as deep sea fishing, paragliding, etc. Los Gigantes has a large lido with all sorts of amenities.
In addition to the items mentioned about Los Gigantes section, the area is famed for its walking routes, whether guided or by oneself. The volcanic landscapes, Canarian vegetation and spectacular gorges lend themselves to breathtaking walks suited to all levels of fitness and reception can easily book or advise on guides and routes.
There is a beautiful harbour/marina area from which you can access a variety of activities ranging from dolphin and whale watching to paragliding. There is also a very well run, professional, diving and snorkelling school.
There are several quality golf courses within an hour's drive, with the nearby Adeje course recently hosting the Canarian Open.Coach trips throughout the island, as well as trips to Mount Teide and the island of Gomera can be booked through reception. For the family there is a nearby water park and a zoo/aquatic park.
The town also has several Canarian bars, restaurants and shops for all one's needs.
Within walking distance of Los Gigantes is the town of Playa de L'Arena which has an award winning beach.
