Indulgence Divine is a full house to yourself . It's a magnificent old building restored perfectly and the attention to detail is great . Everything about this place is top class . Great location situated a short walk from the main square in Bergu where you enjoy a few drinks with the locals who love to chat and give you pointers to what's going on . A 5 minute walk to the Ferry which takes you to Valletta. You will be hard pushed to find any critical points with this accommodation. Beds and pillows are super comfy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There is a mid landing seated area but we opted for the sun terrace which has a covered table and chairs area or you have the option of two.sun loungers in the sun trap of a terrace, covers and pillows are also provided. Can't give any developmental points about this place everything was first class . Close to some nice restaurants and local bars . We go to Bergu at least once a year , this is a fine for us and are new go to accommodate. I actually think the photos don't do this place justice . Aldo the owner will arrange transport from and to the airport. He will also contact you when you arrive to check everything is fine. Nice little arrival pack with essential . Beach towels are available to save space in your case for a small fee or 99 cents . We stayed 2 weeks and it was very welcoming to return after exploring the island .

Thank you for choosing Indulgence Divine and for such a lovely review. Birgu is rather underrated when compared to other parts of Malta. Its rich history is a puller as is the architecture, the sea which surrounds it (it's a peninsula) and its proximity to Valletta thanks to a 10 minute ferry journey. No wonder you have been a repeat visitor to Birgu. We look forward to see you again very soon.

A hidden gem
We had a wonderful relaxing week in Birgu at Indulgence Divine. The townhouse was perfect for us, spacious and tastefully furnished and decorated. Surrounded by great restaurants and bars all populated by very friendly locals. Our host, Aldo provided excellent information to enable us to make the most of our stay and we have already booked a return trip next year but for longer next time. We went to the Manoel Theatre in Valetta for a wonderful evening of classical music. What a venue. But on all our trips to Valetta via the very convenient ferry we couldn’t wait to get back ‘home’ to Birgu and the peace and quiet we get so little of in our real home. Thank you Aldo, until next time ……

If you are looking for a well equipped base from which to explore Malta Indulgence Divine is the perfect place to stay.
A fascinating 16th century townhouse that has everything you need in a base to explore the area.
The house is situated in an enchanting neighbourhood consisting of narrow rambling medieval streets with an interesting building or monument at almost every turn.
The converted merchant’s house has been stylishly furnished and has everything you need for your stay including a well equipped kitchen, a large shower and even a secret room...... Every inch of this house oozes history. On returning from our days out we made good use of the comfortable lounge and surprisingly peaceful roof terrace.
The waterfront/marina is a 10 minute walk away where you will find a good selection of bars and restaurants in addition to traditional and catamaran ferries to Valetta
We found that you really don't need a rental car to explore the island as the buses and ferries work well (although the ferries don't run in high winds).
We very much enjoyed our walks around the 3 Cities and their massive forts and fortified walls. Mdina’s church and medieval streets are well worth a visit. The Underground Valetta tour gave us an insight into where the population went to escape the devastating 2nd world war bombing. Chilling...
Aldo, the owner was the perfect host, at the end of the phone whenever needed.

What an amazing place to stay!
We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house, the decor is fabulous and everything you need in a home away from home is there. Aldo is a fantastic host and was available if we had any questions, he kept in touch from booking until after we got home. The house is in a great location Birgu is beautiful and just across the harbour is Valletta easily accessible via either water taxi or ferry service.
I would recommend Indulgence Divine as a very unique place where you could celebrate special occasions such as anniversaries.
Thank you for a fabulous stay and for the lovely welcome hamper. We hope to return again soon.

UNIQUE HOUSE IN A GREAT LOCATION
We stayed for a week in April 2022 - a unique memorable house in BIrgu - on four floors, so there's plenty of space for two people - and the bonus of a roof terrace. Well equipped, very clean, snazzily decorated and furnished.. Bus and ferry are close by as are a number of restaurants and bars. No shortage of sights in Birgu and Valletta to keep you occupied. Valletta itself is photogenic and worth taking your time in. Friendly, information host and great communication. Recommended.

Another wonderful stay at ID
We’ve just had our second stay in this comfortable and stylish house, in a lovely area with so much to see. Valletta is very easy to reach by ferry or bus.
Thoroughly recommend ID - and Aldo is a wonderful host.

Just excellent.
Aldo is the perfect host. Bread and a basket with wine and goodies prepared, bathrobes and slippers, nice towels, coffee, water, milk.
The apartment is stunning. So many details in this treasure make it just unique.
The apartment is in a very quiet area, but also close to the ferry, bus stop and restaurants.
We definitively enjoyed it a lot and highly recommend this special piece of luxury.

Effortlessly exquisite
We booked our week at IndulgenceDivine over two and a half years ago so I don’t think we quite remembered that what we had booked was an entire townhouse over four floors complete with a suntrap roof terrace. What a truly fabulous place this is right in the heart of historic Birgu. We felt very spoiled thanks to the host’s impeccable hospitality and the effortlessly exquisite style and charm of the house. We were also extremely lucky with the weather: 20 degrees ain’t so bad considering it’s actually snowing back at home! Thank you very much for everything.

Wonderful stay
Indulgence Divine is a wonderful private house you have all to yourself in a traditional street in Vittoriosa, teeming with history. Luxe accommodation for a couple, lots of space over two levels with a lovely terrace third floor and fully equipped kitchen. Restaurants and small shops down the road, places of interest and the bells of the cathedral, the town has a homely, casual vibe with lots of outdoor patios - great in covid times. Everything has been readied for your visit, you are well looked after! We had a wonderful working holiday month thank you Aldo and Josephine.

Vittoriosa appeals to those interested in history, cafes, restaurants, wine bars and the local way of life. Vittoriosa is a pleasant 10 minute ferry journey from the capital city of Valletta, making it an ideal base to discover the island from.
