Stable cottage is situated in beautifull surroundings and has been converted from a traditional stone farm building,tastefully furnished and decorated to complement the caracter of the building.We offer a quiet and peaceful holiday yet conveniently situated between Machynlleth and Aberdyfi, close to sea and mountains. The costal pass goes through our sheep farm. The village of Pennal has a village shop and an excellent pub/restaurant serving wonderful food. Wi-fi is available free of charge. The open plan ground floor includes a lounge area, dining area and kitchen. Leading from the lounge area is a double bedded room with an en-suite shower room. The fully equipped fitted kitchen includes an electric cooker, larder fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The lounge has a woodburning stove providing a worm cosy atmosphere. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one twin and a very large double bedded room with additioal seating area. Both bedrooms have beamed ceilings and the two double rooms have beautifully exposed stone walls. Upstairs situated between the two bedrooms is a family bathroom includes a bath, wash basin and w/c.

About the neighbourhood
The village of Pennal is rich in historical interest with documented history going back to roman times. The village was involved in the revolt of Owain Glyndwr and also the war of roses. A historic church stands in the center of the village. Machynlleth 4 miles away was the first capital of Wales. Aberdyfi is a beautiful harbour villiage and has a lovely sandy beach that goes all the way to Tywyn, an old fashioned seaside town with fomous honey ice cream.
How to get there
From Machynlleth go over Dyfi Bridge. Turn left onto A493 heading towards Aberdyfi. Go through the village of Pennal and about half a mile further the small village of Cwrt. At Cwrt turn left. The cottages are half a mile keeping to the right.
