About the neighbourhood
The village of Pennal is rich in historical interest with documented history going back to roman times. The village was involved in the revolt of Owain Glyndwr and also the war of roses. A historic church stands in the center of the village. Machynlleth 4 miles away was the first capital of Wales. Aberdyfi is a beautiful harbour villiage and has a lovely sandy beach that goes all the way to Tywyn, an old fashioned seaside town with fomous honey ice cream.
How to get there
From Machynlleth go over Dyfi Bridge. Turn left onto A493 heading towards Aberdyfi. Go through the village of Pennal and about half a mile further the small village of Cwrt. At Cwrt turn left. The cottages are half a mile keeping to the right.
