Interaction with guests: We should be there to meet you and introduce you to the family dogs Lottie, Lucy, Molly and Georgie Girl. The accommodation is located adjacent to the main house and the dogs may be around much of the time. You will be welcomed to join us in any farm activities or just to hang out with the alpacas. We are a working farm so expect on occasion for there to be other people around when we do alpaca walks, run handling courses or fibre workshops. If you wish to participate, these can be booked on your arrival.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Wonderful short break.
My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful break. Victoria was easy and quick to communicate with ahead of our trip (navigating storms etc). The accommodation was spotless and comfortable. It was such a joy to watch the Alpacas from the living room window each morning and then immerse ourselves amongst them ahead of their feed. The runner ducks were amusing and enjoyable to watch! Roger and Victoria are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating hosts and we would definitely return again - albeit in more pleasant weather so we can fully enjoy the chairs and table in the courtyard. The shower was excellent and most needed to warm ourselves up from the storms which hit during our stay.

Lovely stay with a calming atmosphere
A great place to stay, the environment is so tranquil and the hosts are great. The animals are all great to be around, the alpacas are very calming, the ducks are very cute and the dogs come for fuss, everything I needed! If I ever get the chance I'd stay again!

Excellent stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stables. Victoria and Roger made us very welcome and the accommodation was very comfortable and a pleasant seating area outside to enjoy watching the Alpacas in the surrounding field. We can thoroughly recommend a break here.

Peaceful, unique & restoring place
This is a haven, delightful, relaxing and friendly hosts. I am having the best time! The accommodation is just right, my dogs and I have been made very welcome. The alpaca are enchanting, so too the big family of ducks! Accessible and as soon as you turn into the drive you've left the traffic behind and are in beautiful countryside. It's smart, comfortable and has everything one needs. Can't recommend it enough!

Dog friendly accommodation
We had a very comfortable few days staying at Kings Lodge, it was clean, warm and well equipped. The owner was welcoming and kindly allowed our grand daughters to visit and feed the Alpacas. We enjoyed watching them and the Indian Runners (Ducks) also the low flying Swallows who were nesting nearby.

Lovely relaxing long weekend
Had a lovely break at The Stable. The cottage is small but lovely for two. Well equipped kitchen and very clean throughout. Victoria and Roger were great hosts, and the gorgeous dogs, alpacas and ducks were lovely. Good location on main road (but very quiet in the cottage) and easy to get to nearby places. We visited the Cotswolds, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Warwick. Our only slight niggle was that the sofa in the lounge was not very comfortable - definitely needs replacing. The bed however was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely break at Simply Alpaca. Our hosts Victoria Roger and Tilly are a wonderful family who really care for all the animals the ducks and the families 3 dogs have free roam of the place and the dogs came to visit often. They supplied us with all the basics such as bread milk butter jam cake and more on our arrival as well as all the cleaning materials We enjoyed our holiday and will return.

Nice location; close to decent sights.
A lovely little apartment which is part of a working Alpaca Farm (they are so sweet btw). Dog-friendly and situated just off the main A422 between Worcester and Stratford. Great sights around and if, as we do, you fancy making best use of local walks, there are many within easy access as well a couple of lovely canal walks. The apartment had everything needed to ensure you don't have to eat out every night. There are a few pubs within relatively easy distance (all do food). The Red Hart is walkable along a path. Would recommend a Sunday lunch at the Wheelbarrow Castle c. 3 miles away. All in all would definitely recommend.

Victoria has left tea coffee milk butter bread jam ! We have a small dog and it was difficult to find somewhere ,this was perfect as we could take him for a walk around the field next door . We would highly recommend the Stable .
