The Hay Barn is set on a quiet road in open, arable farmland. It has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen that are light and airy, giving a very upmarket feel.
There are three bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests. Upstairs the master bedroom is spacious and has generous wardrobe space, a full length mirror and a hairdryer. The en - suite has a bath with shower above
On the ground floor are two bedrooms, one of which can be set up as a twin or king size.. They have full length mirrors, drawers, hanging space and en-suites with shower cuticles. Two additional guests can sleep on the double sized sofa bed. (Additional fee applicable for bedding, linen, towels.)

The barn is beautifully renovated and provides ample, great quality accommodation. With 2 bedrooms downstairs it was perfect for my disabled step father especially with there ensuites. The kitchen was open plan enabling everyone to chat whilst preparing food and then sit at the large pine table. The barn backed onto fields which was wonderful for my 2 border collies...

malden is underrated. The sea lock is lovely for lunch and a stroll while looking out to sea. The quay side is very interesting with it's large, old fashioned sailing boats and the park is great for children. We would happily of stayed in though. The barn is beautiful.

Weekend prices will be charged on Thursday to Sunday.
Bank Holiday Mondays are weekend prices. Up to 1child under 2 yrs at the time of the stay and using a travel cot are not included in the rental numbers.
Please request a travel cot and high chair. Guests must supply their own cot bedding.

Rental rates are inclusive of 20% VAT.

Up to two medium sized, well behaved dogs welcome. £5 per dog per day.

There is free wi-fi for emails and internet browsing.

A large basket of logs and kindling supplied for the log burner. Additional large bags of wood and kindling available at cost. (£7 winter 2015). Heating is through oil central heating and the log burning stove.

Electric is payable by meter cards which can be purchased on arrival. Meter cards avoid the need to feed coins to the meter.
