Recently renovated 2 bedroom self catering upper floor flat with own entrance and private parking for one vehicle. Situated in Ballygrant in the North of the Island a
10 minute drive from the ferry terminal at Port Askaig. The living room is south west facing and overlooks fields and hills.
'Taigh na Dhot' offers a well equipped home from home with comfortable furnishing. There is electric heating, microwave, washing machine, tumble drier, air fryer , dishwasher etc
The property is ideally situated for visiting Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila and Ardnahoe distilleries.

Super place to stay in Islay!
Taigh na dhot is a lovely cottage on the outside all mod cons on the inside! Beautiful all brand new and very comfortable for a family of four - Ballygrant is a great location - close to the ferry port of Port askaig, quiet, easy to park and lovely cafe on the doorstep and Ballygrant inn up the road - amazing walks at Ballygrant loch and lovely path that goes to Keills - you can also stop off at the lord of the isles site at Finlaggan. Bus stop is literally across the road so for those travelling without a car it is ideal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! And Islay is just wonderful of course!

The best holiday let we have ever had , everything you would ever need and more 😃😃😃 . Fiona was excellent to deal with, nothing was a problem and easy to contact, the property Dhot’s House, was an ideal spot to visit all areas of the island, highly recommended 😍

Liebe voll eingerichtete Wohnung mit Empfehlungscharakter
Vielen Dank für diese tolle und liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft.
Wir waren dort für 1,5 Wochen und uns hat an nichts gefehlt.
Sobald wir eingetreten sind, haben wir uns direkt heimisch und wohl gefühlt.
Von Handtüchern über Waschmaschine und Trockner, Bügeleisen und Toaster ist alles vorhanden.
Wenn wir das nächste mal auf Islay sind, werden wir diese Unterkunft wieder buchen. Fiona du bist eine tolle Gastgeberin, bei fragen konnten wir uns immer an dich wenden. Danke dafür :)

Fantastic, comfortable place to stay
Fantastic apartment with everything you could ever need. Very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
