Overlooking Hampshire's stunning Meon Valley Brocklands Farm's two safari tents are the perfect place for a relaxing break. Easily reached from London our site in the South Downs National Park offers many walks, including on the farm itself. The great outdoors is all around you while you can live in complete comfort. Each safari tent sleeps 6 in a king bedroom, double cabin bed and twin bedroom with a spacious, almost en-suite bathroom. In the tent a kitchen area with butlers sink and wood-burning range makes food preparation a pleasure. The kitchen is well equipped and basics such as tea and coffee are provided, along with tin foil, cling film, washing-up liquid etc. A small solar-powered fridge helps to keep food and drinks cool. (It does of course rely on some sun to keep it going.) ...Overlooking Hampshire's stunning Meon Valley Brocklands Farm's two safari tents are the perfect place for a relaxing break. (It does of course rely on some sun to keep it going.) You can also stroll into West Meon to stock up for a BBQ or replenish your stocks. Relax around the farmhouse table or on the comfortable sofa, choose a game from the games chest or watch the sun go down on the platform with a glass of wine in your hand. Time slows and relaxations seeps in. Any children will enjoy exploring the adjoining wood, roaming free in the grass field or toasting marshmallows on the camp fire. The rope swing is also very popular. The almost-ensuite bathroom always surprises our guests. The wood burner not only gives you a piping hot shower but makes sure the cabin is cosy when you get out. The eco-toiletries and fluffy towels enhance your pleasure. The picturesque village of West Meon is a gentle walk away and there are many good pubs in the area.More

We loved staying at Brocklands in the safari tent and wished we'd have stayed longer! It really feels very comfortable and we enjoyed cooking on the wood burning stove. A real adventure!

We booked last minute and the whole process was very easy. Upon arrival we were greeted by Buffy and shown around the tent (Yellowhammer), more like a suite than a tent. It was well laid out and so comfortable! It was so nice to have...More

About the neighbourhood
The Meon Valley is well known as being a particularly beautiful part of the South Downs National Park. West Meon itself is picturesque and well served by a community shop, great pub serving delicious food, award-winning butcher and café. There are lovely walks accessed from the farm and many attractions within a short drive. Visit HMS Victory in Portsmouth, take the children to Pepper Pig World or crabbing at Emsworth. Explore Winchester, the ancient capital of England or the market town of Petersfield. That is if you can tear yourself away from the tranquility of the site! A folder full of other ideas is provided in the tent.
Getting around
If you want to walk you don't need to bring a car. If you wish to explore a little further afield then a car is recommended, although local taxis will help.
