Affectionately known as 'the little house', Warren Cottage is full of character and was part of a converted bakery which has been lovingly renovated with free wifi, new furnishings and a modern Italian spiral staircase. Many of the traditional features have been retained such as the old bread oven in the inglenook and the original beamed ceiling, and it is supplied with good quality modern luxuries; microwave, washing machine, television with DVD, fridge with freezer compartment, electric shower. The cottage enjoys a south facing aspect for sunshine most of the day into the kitchen which also has a vaulted ceiling. Secure, dry storage is available in the lean-to for bikes and hiking gear for those who wish to enjoy an active holiday from the cottage.

Walking, hiking, fishing and sight seeing. Lots of public walkways, great fishing lake nearby. Easy drive to Tintern, (fantastic Abbey) and Chepstowe and Hereford close by

Railway: Hereford: 22.0 km
The cottage is conveniently situated 3 miles from the end of the M50 and 1.5 miles from Ross-on-Wye town centre. It is on the rural 37 bus route from Ross to Hereford, therefore, although a car is convenient, it is not absolutely essential. For cyclists or non-drivers, there is a train station at Hereford or Gloucester and a bus passing the cottage so a car-free holiday can be enjoyed without too much inconvenience. Sainsbury, Waitrose and Tesco all deliver directly to the area so shopping can be pre-arranged for your convenience.
