Condo/Apartment -
3 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 8
Castiglion Fiorentino, Province of Arezzo, Tuscany
La Limonaia is the ground floor 3 bedroom apartment in the original stone built wing of Villa Manciano. Villa Manciano itself consists of 3 homes arranged in such a way to ensure maximum privacy. Each home has it's own private entrance, private terrace and private BBQ.

Villa Manciano is a very typical Tuscan home that was originally built as an elementary school for the children of the rural Manciano area over 100 years ago. The house has been fully renovated and tastefully extended and now nestles in more than 3 acres (12.000 sq. meters) of landscaped gardens. Villa Manciano is perfectly located in the Val di Chiana Valley, in the Cortona area.

Guests have access to 3 acres of gardens. (12,000 sq. meters) and to the pool.

Interaction with guests
The owners: Barrie and Rita both work in Hong Kong. Our place in Tuscany as a second home....... and we go there as often as we can.... it's the exact opposite of Hong Kong....words like calm, serene, relaxed, romantic all come to mind when thinking about Villa Manciano and Tuscany. If we are in Tuscany then we are more than happy to share the local knowledge we've accumulated over the years. If not, then Antonietta, our wonderful property manager, can answer any questions yo may have and offer suggestions and ideas on where to go, what to do, restaurants, cooking lessons, Italian lessons... you name it.... all you have to do is ask.

About the neighbourhood
Castiglion Fiorentino is a small, walled city in eastern Tuscany, Italy, in the province of Arezzo, between the cities of Arezzo and Cortona.

Manciano is the birthplace of famous Italian actor (and Oscar winner) Roberto (“Life is Beautiful”). You can see a statue erected in his honour close by.

Supermarkets and many nice restaurants are 5-10 mins away. During summer there are dozens of local festivals all around. Every Wednesday throughout the year there is a nice market in Monte San Savino.

On the first Sunday of every month Arezzo hosts one of the largest Antiques Fairs in Italy.

Other places to visit include the Church of San Francesco, Piazza Grande, the Medicean Fortress, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Church of San Domenico
