We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Clean, well presented and warm (thanks to that great underfloor heating). The welcome treats were a wonderful surprise.

When you live in the outer suburbs of Perth, Western Australia you have a certain longing for emerald green pastures, light rustle of wind against the leaves and the soft noise of birds prior to sunset. Having spent many years in the great sunburnt land down under, Sally's Garden was the perfect place to fulfill my dreams of peace and...

Sally's Garden Cottage is indeed an authentic olde-world farm cottage; which has been transformed into the modern age. There is absolutely no mobile phone connectivity; I most certainly tried from every side and corner of SGC. There is a landline, but as this is barred to mobile numbers; this only helps a little. On the day we arrived, a gentleman...

About the neighbourhood
For those who prefer to walk or cycle, the area offers a lacework of quiet country roads and lanes, ideal for rambling along to explore at your leisure.

And when you've had your look around the area, there's a guarantee of a snug warm house with under floor heating and a wood burning stove for those times when you need to see a real fire.

There is a family run supermarket to stock up on food supplies within a minute by car or five minutes walk and if shopping in a larger scale is your preference, then the city of Newry with two major shopping centres is just fifteen minutes drive away.
Mountain biking, golf, angling and water activities are all within a fifteen minute drive of Sally's Garden Cottage and the Burren area is laced with beautiful little roads for a walk or a lo...
