Joanna-Marie is a beautiful deluxe villa, furnished to a high standard and featuring a private swimming pool, which can be heated for all year round use. Situated on a gently elevated position with views of the Salgados Golf course, Galé beach and the ocean beyond, this villa benefits from magnificent sunsets to the West.

The beautiful local beaches are within a 5 minute drive, or alternatively for those who prefer gentle exercise, it's an approximately 30 minute walk. Local restaurants and cafes are just a 10 minute stroll away.
The villa has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and is built on three levels. The ground floor comprises of a large open plan living/ dining room, guest cloakroom, kitchen, utility room and bedrooms four and five. The lower level of the property houses a large double garage with a table tennis table, darts and pool table. The villa’s upper storey consists of bedrooms one, two and three, all with balconies.
Living Areas
The open plan living/ dining room is very spacious and includes 10 seater dining table and a new 55 inch flat screen television with UK, USA and European satellite channels, including Sky Sports. 5G Wi-fi is available throughout the villa. Double patio doors lead to the poolside terrace and the air conditioned dining area features a large dining table with 10 chairs.
The spacious lounge area has a stone fireplace as the central focal point and also has access to the patio and pool area.
The large modern kitchen has been designed and fitted to a high standard and appliances include a microwave, dishwasher, oven, dual sinks and a new American style fridge freezer with integrated water/ ice dispenser. There is an additional breakfast table with seating for 8 in the kitchen, and the washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the large adjacent utility room.
The kitchen also opens through double French doors onto the outside dining area and poolside terrace.
There is an outside sitting area to take advantage of the late afternoon sun.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Three bedrooms are located on the first floor of the villa. Two of the bedrooms are king sized and have en-suite shower rooms. The master bedroom has a super king four poster bed and en-suite bath with additional shower. All showers are Grohe are newly installed in 2019.
All of the first floor bedrooms have balconies with superb views over the Salgados golf course and lake, and all the villa’s bedrooms have mosquito screens on the windows and French doors.
Both bedrooms on the ground floor are twin bedrooms with individual en-suite shower rooms, and there is an additional guest cloakroom with small bath and shower, positioned off the entrance hallway.
The Villa Joanna Marie has a new 65inch flat-screen TV boasting full access to Sky, ESPN, and BT sport; as well as Sky Movies, in English and most European languages. Their is also on demand free movies and TV series.
Outside Space
The oval shaped swimming pool measures approximately 8m x 4m, with a roller cover and optional pool heating (£190pw) which may be required in the winter months. The pool is located in a very private hedged area of the garden.
The poolside terrace has a large dining area from which you may wish to enjoy meals cooked on the traditional barbecue, and the views over the golf course and the Ocean beyond. You can relax by the poolside terraces which are surrounded by lawns and gardens.
There is a outside pizza oven, BBQ and BBQ equipment.
Lower ground Floor
The Villa has a large lower ground floor which has a new indoor table tennis table, pool table, dart board and accessories
Location
In the local area you are spoilt for choice for leisure activities, with the golf course at Salgados and the beaches at Gale and Salgados all within a short five minute drive. The marina of Albufeira and the famous Old Town can all be reached within a ten minute drive. There is a selection of bars and restaurants within close walking distance, including traditional Portuguese and a romantic Italian restaurant.

Maid service- one week bookings will receive a mid-week clean and towel change. Two week bookings will receive mid-week cleaning and towel changes and an additional weekend clean and linen change.

Met 8 personen een weekend in deze schitterende villa gezeten. Meer dan genoeg ruimte met een geweldige tuin (zwembad, zitgedeelte, BBQ's, veel ligbedjes) in een rustige, mooie omgeving. De villa was van alle gemakken voorzien: een hele ruime inventaris voor de keuken, genoeg badhanddoeken en strandlakens, grote televisie, grote americaanse koelkast, alle kamers een eigen toilet en regendouche. Kortom alles was goed alleen de bedden vonden wij vrij hard. En omdat het zo fijn was vonden we het alleen te kort. We willen hier zeker een keer terug komen.
Ook de complimenten aan David, het contact met hem verliep erg vlot en prettig!

Fantastic Villa
Could not fault this gorgeous villa, very clean and spacious, all en sutie bedrooms were great. Pool and BBQ area well used by all. The owner David's communication was excellent and helped us every step of the way, would recommend to all.

Marvellous!
This is just THE most fantastic villa. The owners have thought of everything you might need, and supplied it. It was really clean and extremely comfortable. Plenty of seating, bedrooms and bathrooms for a large group.
Pool was perfect and we used it every day.
There are three restaurants within a fifteen minute walk, all of which are good. Can recommend Quinta de Saudade, where we had an excellent meal.
Loved our stay at Villa Joanna Marie and already looking at a return visit next year.

What a lovely villa this is
Second time in booking this villa and as before we all had a wonderful stay during these troubled times, a fantastic villa with all you could need and David the owner and Manuel the manager could not be anymore helpful with all our needs, will be booking again as soon as all this covid rubbish is behind us.

Amazing Villa!
Amazing villa, fully equipped, pool was great! David was outstanding throughout! Great customer service. Management company abroad visited us to make sure we were okay. Games room downstairs was a great entertainment. We loved the villa and already want to come back!!!

Beautiful Villa - Brilliant Experience
What a lovely villa. It has everything from a games room to a superb pool with heating. Very family friendly. I have to say David was excellent, helped with every query before and during our stay. Our whole group loved it. The villa was clean with all suitable amenities and very comfortable beds..
Stunning views, the beach is close by and nice restaurants are nearby suitable for different dietary needs.
Again thanks for a brilliant stay. Would definitely recommend!!! :)

Absolutely brilliant villa with everything you need
The location is brilliant, away from the hustle and bustle of the beach but closer enough to be able to get there easily. Really nice restaurants just a short walk away or a super cheap uber ride to ones further afield. Highly recommend using Uber, comes quickly and many around the area of the villa.
The villa itself is fantastic, beautiful fittings and had more than enough room for the 8 of us. It has everything you need, there was genuinely nothing that was missing or we needed that was not available. Nice large and good depth for a pool, temperature was spot on for June. Spacious outside area with 2 BBQ's which came in really handy when catering for 8 of us. Felt extremely safe with the gates, security alarms and being on a private estate.
Could not recommend this villa enough, the owners and management catered to our every need.
Thanks for such a great stay and we would love to come back.

Beautiful spacious villa
We had a lovely time with family and friends, the villa is perfect for this type of holiday, clean, modern and spacious, the pool area is great,with plenty of room and seating outside.We had a few barbecues, but also there are a few nice restaurants nearby. We also made good use of the games room, altogether a fantastic holiday.

Beautiful Spacious Villa
Stayed for two weeks to celebrate 70th birthdays. We were a family group of nine and found the accommodation and facilities more than adequate, with spacious, well furnished rooms generously equipped. Wonderful good sized pool. The games room kept the men of the family, young and old, happy. Good location convenient for excellent local beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Booking arrangements straightforward. Happy to recommend.

Vale de Parra, translating to ‘valley of the vines’ offers the impossible juxtaposition of rural serenity and convenient access to an excellent range of restaurants, local amenities and miles of pristine sandy beaches. Situated neatly within a protected nature reserve, Salgados Golf course will delight beginners and experienced golfers alike. The picturesque eighteen holes co-exist with a number of endangered bird species.
Villa Joanna Marie has full wifi and a flat-screen TV boasting full access to Sky, ESPN, and BT sport; as well as Sky Movies.
Getting around
There is a bus stop outside the Villa (at the bottom of the road), but a hire car is the best option and is reasonably cheap in the Algarve.
