Against a background of pale-washed walls and light-tiled floors, the accomodation offers good quality wooden furniture throughout with spashes of colour from tasteful fabrics and furnishings. Wide French windows in the large living - come - dining area lead straight onto a covered veranda with steps leading down to an unusually very large sized private Swimming Pool (12m X 6m). There are sun-beds too with parasols to lounge on and real wooden barbeque furniture with outdoor barbeque cooking facilities. Alternatively, if you preferred to use the Jacuzzi, this too is a free option and a great way to relax and feel at home in the evening ambience! There is also a lovely grassed Childrens' play area which includes a slide and swings which is a great way for children to have fun! This is truly a 'Home from Home' experience and a magnificient holiday experience you are never likely to forget!

Family holiday
We stayed here with parents for a week in June 2015.
We booked via Thomson and got car hire included which is pretty much a necessity as the villa is not on any public transport routes, and about 10 mins drive from supermarket/beach.
The owners were very friendly and keen to help in any way possible - even with our traffic offence (note to non-locals, do not cross a continuous white line in the road despite welcoming Lidl signposting!)
We were able to pick fresh fruit from the orchard as and when we wanted to - which was a lovely touch and made great orange juice!
The villa was very spacious with 2 double and 2 twin rooms - plus 4 bathrooms.
No air con was the only flaw - though the pool did serve as a great cool off during the 40 degree heat.
Barbeque facilities were provided and there was lots of space to eat as well as 2 lounge areas.
Would advise mosquito repellant for evenings to anyone travelling, as no nets on windows and very hot.
Overall a lovely relaxing week - would recommend.

Well laid out villa,in tranquil location,with fantastic pool.
Lovely villa that is well laid out. Very well equipped with the exception of air-con. The weather was hot whilst there and the fantastic pool provided excellent opportunities to cool off.
The villa is situated in the lovelÅ· countryside, providing quiet and restful good quality accomodation. Kitchen on the small side but very well equipped, barbeque used most evenings with a choice of 3 terraces to dine from.It is a short drive to Praia de Luz and to Lagos. Many beautiful beaches nearby.
The lovely owners, who were there if needed ,but not intrusive in any way. Invited to pick fruit from the orchard- lovelÅ· fresh oranges.

Perfect
If you really what the perfect place, this would be it. We had an amazing two weeks here. The villa is close to the town, but also has some nice restaurants in the village.
It is safe and secure and the owners are fantastic. The pool is just beautiful.
We really could not recommend this villa enough.

Relaxation at its best
Whilst a little bit off the beaten track, this property turned out to be more that we expected. Set in a gated plot, the property caters for up to eight people and as there were only three of us we had more than enough space to enjoy. Tastefully furnished throughout and very spacious. The pool is well proportioned and the gardens/orchard well looked after. Friendly geese and chickens who shared our experience every day. Daily fresh oranges off the tree and lemon for your G & T. The owners extremely pleasant people. All in all a very peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings.

How to get there
Overview: From Faro Airport head west, along the algarve to the Lagos area driving on the A22 motorway until EXIT No 1 Lagos/Vila do Bispo, where it ends and the following the N125 to your destination.
After you have picked up your car from Europcar. Follow the exit(saida) signs, turn right, after few hundred meters u-turn and follow the road that lead you to a roundabout. Follow the signs for Faro and Portimao/A22.
After approximately 2Kms, take the 2nd turning on the right to Loule,Portimao, Lisboa and A22(Do not go off to Faro/V.R S. Antonio).
after about 3.5 Kms, the road forks into 2, keep in the left-hand lane following the signs for Loule. After another 3 Kms take the turning to the right signposted A22 in the direction Portimao/Lisboa and Albufeira.
Continue westward along the A22 motorway. When you see the sign for Exit no 1 lagos/Vila do Bispo, take this exit and follow this road in the direction of Lagos till you reach roundabout, take the first exit in direction of Sagres/Vila do Bispo and rejoin N125.
Continue for a further 4,5 kms and after a campsite on your right, take the right turn to the ESPICHE. Take the turning immediately round to the left and after 400 meters you will reach an open junction to the right. Take a second of the turnings on your right, signposted Barao de S.Joao ( keep left passing the steep road up to the village on your right). after 800 meters turn riht (signposted Villa Paraiso), after a further 700 meters as the track bends left, take the right fork up dirt track. Horta da Avozinha is the first house on the right after approx 500 m. Go into the property, first on the right is Horta da Avozinha, and for villa kimbo follow the drive to the end.
