The spacious house has panoramic views of the coast and is adjacent to the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and is part of a working farm. Relax in the sheltered garden or pretty courtyard after a day on the moor or the beach. The house is traditionally and comfortably furnished befitting its age being built in 1896. It is in a prime position to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is suitable for both families and mature people. There are lots of places to visit and lots of local footpaths and walks for the hikers. A quiet place awaits you with only the gentle sound of the farmyard animals and bird life to listen to....The spacious house has panoramic views of the coast and is adjacent to the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and is part of a working farm. Quiet location, no neighbours to contend with but within easy reach of the moors and coast. Lots of space, comfortable and well-stocked. Ellen was friendly, communicative and helpful, everything went smoothly and easily. Really enjoyed our stay, could happily have stayed longer.

About the neighbourhood
The farmhouse is in a quiet setting in the countryside. The neighbours are sheep, cows, hens and Gertie the pig. Ian who farms the land with help from my sons are often around working during the day (and night in the lambing season!) There are pubs within two miles. The fresh air is free!. Bring your bikes as there is storage room too. We look forward to meeting our visitors and giving you a warm, friendly Yorkshire welcome. Lots of places to visit...both inland and the coast.
Getting around
A car is quite essential, but you can walk to the nearest bus stop...one and a half miles away where buses pass more in the summer than winter.
