About the neighbourhood
From the cottage there are lovely views over the field with a herd of Highland Cattle and horses for neighbours and views to the surrounding hills. Nearby is the lively harbour town of Oban (12 miles), from here you can sample the delights of the area including the islands of Mull, Staffa, Coll and Tiree as well as the wonderful Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Glencoe and Fort William and a trip on the famous Harry Potter train are within easy reach. Several nice eateries such as the Creagan Inn, The Pierhouse at Port Appin, the Old Inn and Isle of Erika Hotel are in easy reach. We dearly love Scotland with it's fantastic wild life & scenery and will be able to give our guests the insiders guide to special places to visit.
