Nice building and the view was beautiful - well worth the climb up the hill. our room had a woodstove (airtight) perfect for when we came in after a long, wet walk on hillside. host and staff were warm and welcoming.

Overall it is an amazing place to spend some quality of time specially with your spouse. Just 5 min walk for a nice quite beach. Almost same distance for a wounder ful castle. The climate is unlike the rest of Wales, being located in the sunshine coastal belt, it is more like Cornwall.<BR>Llansteffan Castle is an impressive, dramatically sited stronghold sitting on a hilltop overlooking the estuary of the River Tywi.
