This large well maintained waterfront cottage features 3 bedrooms, 4 piece bathroom, Large living room and 3 season Sunroom as well as a secondary 2 piece bathroom. Cottage has central air conditionning. Wake up and have your morning coffee at waters edge. Spend your day playing in the water or soaking up the sun on the lovely large deck. Take the kids on a peaceful canoe ride ! Great Lake for swimming, fishing and any watersports. Enjoy the tranquil nights gazing at the stars or keeping cozy by the fire pit at the waters edge. Great Cottage
Had a lovely time! Cottage was clean and spacious for our family & guests. Everything we required was already there for us to enjoy- including laundry which always comes in handy. Lots of outdoor space for kids & pets to play. Kids caught lots of fish off the dock and enjoyed the little sand area for playing & swimming. Sunsets were beautiful by the fire, very quite area while we were there. We will definitely be returning next season. Thanks again Steve

It's adequate for a week stay
This cottage is on a well travelled (by boat) section of Fenlon Falls. As such it is close to all amenities; restaurants; grocery store; hardware store; gas station; etc. The lakefront is wide, but even so, neighbours are quite close and because there are a lot of cottages close by it is quite noisy (screaming kids, loud boats, barking dogs).
The actual access to the water is a small part of the lakefront, but it is sandy and easily accessed. The dock is nice and so is the fire pit.
The property is not well maintained, there were no flowers and the trees needed to be trimmed particularly because there was a caterpillar infestation. One main tree on the property was almost dead. There were lots of bottle caps and cigarette butts on the property.
When we arrived at the cottage we needed to clean it...particularly the kitchen. The handyman said there had been a large group there before us and he was unable to completely clean the property. Even so, it appeared that some parts of the cottage had not been cleaned for at least a year, including the living room windows that look out onto the lake, which was too bad.
The house itself is well equipped with laundry, air-conditioning and a nice deck and barbecue. There is no wi-fi.
You don't want to rent this cottage however, if you expect something well maintained and newer. Some of the cottage was carpeted and the carpets were not in great shape. I would recommend replacing these carpets with laminate.
There were three bedrooms and one area that looked like it was originally meant to be a living room, that was used as a bedroom as well. The bedrooms were adequate.
Overall, we had a nice stay at the cottage, but were not happy with the cleanliness and would not book this cottage again.

Unfortunately noise tends to carry a little more across water as oppose to a place inland.
It is our expectation that the cottage is left in the clean manner of which it was found upon arrival (as per our rental agreement). Prior to your arrival, a large group did not respect the fact that this is not a housekeeping cottage, leaving an excessive mess on the entire property. This was a unique situation, as our valued guests typically leave the cottage as clean as they have found it. We do have a maintenance person check the cottage between each weekly rental to ensure that it is clean and ready for immediate occupancy. We pride ourselves in providing a comfortable and clean cottage for families to enjoy.
The light haze in living room windows is in between the panes of glass, and cannot be removed. The only remedy for such is to replace the entire window.
This 3 bedroom cottage has a large sunroom with a pull out couch that can be used for additional sleeping space if needed, or simply as an extra sitting area or family games area.
We sincerely apologize if your stay did not meet your expectations. We have several guests who enjoy their summer holidays with us, many of which make our cottage their destination of choice each year.
