Aberdare Home is located on the slope of Aberdare ranges, 5 km from Othaya town and less than 4km from former 3rd President of Kenya Mwai Kibaki Othaya's home. It's a two-in-one bungalow with 6 bedrooms and two lounges. 3-bedroom and one lounge it's where the host and his family stay. The other 3 bedrooms and the second lounge are at your disposal. Both sides of the house are entirely private from the other.
There is a place to grill your nyama choma and also a place to light your bonfire to warm your place as you enjoy your night. Charcoal to be used in barbeque grilling and firewood for the bonfire are at your cost. This can be arranged with the host.
The kitchen is the only place that may be shared with the host. Other sections are entirely private

There are various activities you can perform in this area. The famous Chinga Dam is just less than 10km from this place which offers some scenic views. Aberdare National Park can be accessed through Mweiga Gate which is like 50Kms from my place. You need a 4wd vehicle to access this park
