This lovely 2 bed 2 bathroom Penthouse Apartment is situated in an elevated position on this new development halfway between the pretty village of Calabardina and the beautiful town of Aguilas on the Costa Calida in sunny southern Spain. The property is luxuriously furnished with good quality English linen including English duvets for the cooler months, and would sleep a maximum six. .The property's position gives some of the BEST VIEWS on the whole development of the sea, town and mountains stretching over 30 miles down the coast to nearby Andalucia. What a lovely week we had here in October! We felt at home in this lovely apartment, and it was a bonus to have two bathrooms. Couldn't stop looking out the windows at the fabulous views, and so quiet - this is real Spain. The apartment is in a great location, so private, and parking at the door was great....

This apartment is high up on the complex with stunning views to the sea and mountains. The complex is fully covered by security guards and a drive-through security post as you enter the entrance to the apartments. The scenery around this undiscovered part of Spain is a mixture of dramatic sea cliffs, long expanses of sandy beaches and several pretty, sandy coves, almost always completely uncrowded. It it normal to have a beach to yourselves out of the main summer months. The sea is warm from May onwards and ideal for the many water based activities on offer. You can even swim in November!! Further afield the historic cities if Lorca and Cartagena are less than an hours drive. Mojacar is less than 40 mins away, as is Vera, where a brand new water park has recently opened. Golfers will be delighted to find good courses within 20 mins by car including Lorca Golf. There is a nine hole course within walking distance of the apartment. The nearest airport Murcia (SJV) is about a 45 minute easy drive away. <BR>This is served from the UK by Ryanair, Jet2 and Easyjet.<BR><BR>Car hire is very reasonable especially outside the main high season - from around E50 per week.<BR>The drive could not be easier via the new AP7 motorway which brings you to within 10 kms of the apartment.<BR><BR>Almeria airport is similar distance away and the same easy drive. Flights to Almeria are good and plentiful eg. Monarch, Thomas Cook, Thomsonfly .<BR><BR>Alicante is about an hour and a half away, again motorway all the way. Served by all the main operators. The Monarch flight is particularly good pricewise.
