A detached, renovated barn, La Grange has a private entrance and parking. The front door opens into a tiled ground floor hallway/dining area to seat 10. Downstairs toilet. There is a fully fitted kitchen with farmhouse table. Two steps down to the spacious lounge with french doors opening onto the terrace. From the hallway stairs lead up to a galleried landing off which there are 3 twin rooms, 2 double rooms. There is a separate bathroom with toilet and separate shower room. All bedrooms have vinyl wood floors and are fully furnished. Off the landing is also a furnished veranda overlooking lakes & woodland - the preferred place for pre-dinner and late night drinks! About the neighbourhood
There is a huge amount to do in the surrounding area and we have stocked the gite with lots of tourist information leaflets for you to browse through, or come and ask and we can make suggestions based on our local knowledge.
Getting around
If you wish to get the best out of the wider area we do recommend a car as the most convenient transport. However if you just want to chill there are many lovely woodland walks around Les Casaniers. We also have a number of bikes on site and again you are in easy walk or cycle to the Lake at St Estephe with its lovely beach, snack bars and picnic areas. We have a bakery and a bar in the village so stroll down for your bread or for a lazy glass of wine.
