A charming 2-bedroom traditional cottage/holiday home is set on high ground and lush green surroundings. The cottage offers spectacular sea and mountain views from its wide terrace. The east facing thus enjoying the invigorating morning sunshine and the cool afternoon shade. The cottage has been lovingly restored and furnished in a traditional fashion. To make you feel comfortable and at home there are 2 spacious bedrooms; one bedroom with a double bed, a second twin bedroom with two-single beds sharing a bathroom. The kitchen has full cooking facilities and all kitchen utensils. A comfortable sitting room. Outdoor patio and a raised sun terrace with sun loungers. About the neighbourhood
The house is situated above the main road connecting the villages of the island with the harbour of Loggos. Some of the nearby beaches are Marmari, Kipiadi (500 m), Levrechio, Kipos. The nearest spot (5' walk) for having breakfast or dinning out, is Taverna Pratigos, offering amazing sea view. From there, continuing on the main road, you can reach Fountana, a village with a bakery & mini market. Taking the oposite direction, you' ll find youreslves in the picturesque harbour of Loggos (1 km) which offers a selection of the best tavernas of the island. Don't miss the fresh wood-oven baked bread of the traditional Lucas Bakery, have a greek coffee in one of the many coffee shops set right next to the breaking waves and rent a boat.
Getting around
In case you don't want to rent a car or scooter, local bus can stop and pick you up from right below the house entrance. We can provide you with the timetables, but make sure you stand on the right spot maximum 5' after the schedualed departure time from Loggos. Another option is to use a taxi upon call-request. We can help you with that by providing the personal phone numbers of the taxi drivers, but, given that they are few, they're not always available.
