It is a very scenic area, with mountain views all around. Corn Manor is located in an upscale neighborhood. It is ten minutes from the University of the West Indies, 15 minutes to two major shopping plazas, 25 minutes to Port of Spain, and 45 minutes to San Fernando. It is also 15 minutes to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary and 5 minutes to the Hummingbird nature reserve in Valley View. It is 10 from the Maracas Water falls.
Getting around
It would be more convenient to rent a car. However, you may take the regular taxis that would take you from Maracas Valley to the Eastern Main Rd in Curepe junction. From that point you can take the priority bus route to Port of Spain. Arima or San Fernando.
