A villa with character
We had a fantastic two week holiday at Villa Irini this September and cannot recommend it highly enough. The villa is full of character with beautiful grounds, amazing views and facilities to cater for every kind of holidaymaker from small to large groups and all ages. If a change is needed from the superb pool the sea can be reached by steps from the villa to the rocks below or a short walk to the nearby beach. For those who do not want to use the impressive self-catering facilities or the staff catering facilities at the villa there are many restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets a short taxi ride away. With a car, there are many more lovely towns, villages, sights and historical places to visit all within about an hour’s distance. In addition to all of this our stay at Villa Irini was made unforgettable due to the care and attention to detail the owner and his staff lavish on both the property and the guests. Discreet but always there when needed, the staff taught us how to prepare Greek dishes, advised us on restaurants and excursions. We cannot commend the management style highly enough.

Absolute Heaven!
We had the most divine family holiday in Porto Hel staying at Villa Irini. It is utter bliss in all aspects. Did not want to leave. The view from the house is unbelievable. The staff so helpful and the accommodation most pleasing in every aspect. If only we were able to return in 2018!

Beyond Paradise
Our 5 night stay was much too short. The comfort, beautiful views, and outdoor living spaces make Villa Irini a perfect destination. The staff are exceptional (Andy, Wilson, and Tina). Be sure to have Wilson prepare a meal, and Andy to make you an ostrich egg for breakfast. We had it boiled and fried and loved them both. Andy is a wealth of information about the area. She booked us a cruise on a traditional Greek boat, and recommended a great place for dinner right on the water. The pool area was a hit with our family, spending hours every afternoon and evening. I would love to spend time here again!

Amazing place
This was our third time staying at Villa Irini and we enjoy it more every time. This was the first time that we have been out of season and we could only manage to get away for a few nights but it was still fantastic. We were lucky with the weather and the kids all went swimming and played with the kayak in the pool. This is mid March!! The house was in fantastic condition, the renovations to the bedrooms and bathrooms were to a very high standard. Wilson cooked as some nice meals and all in all it was a fantastic weekend. If you are staying there and looking for a fun day out I can recommending heading to Spetses for the day and renting bicycles to go around the Island. It is a 26 km route and a really nice way to spend a morning or afternoon. It is not too strenuous, a few steep hills here and there but we had a 10 year old with us and he had no problem. I hope to get a chance to head back again in the not too distant future.

Great views and wonderful owners
We had a delightful week in villa irini. The villa is a lovely balance of homely and quality accommodation. Vangelis was wonderful arranging for our arrival including making provision for one of us who needs a gluten and dairy free diet. Nothing was too much trouble for him or those on site. The friendliness of Wilson, Tassi and Angela is overwhelming. Nothing is too much trouble and although they live on site and are available seemingly all the time they are also discreet and never in the way. Wilson cooked a wonderful meal one evening for us, something we would heartily recommend. We had the option of breakfast being prepared for us. Lovely bread, cheese, meats, eggs, fresh orange juice and fruit was such a wonderful start to each day, and no washing up! The kitchen is one of the best equipped we've ever had with lots of herbs, spices and oils available, and I gather Vangelis plans to put a new kitchen in for next year, which will make it even better. The espresso machine was a great addition. The bedrooms are all lovely, clean and comfortable. And with Angela making our beds each day it feels almost like a hotel but with the lovely home feel. Mosquito nets on all the doors and windows was a nice touch, but the area seemed remarkably mosquito free for a Mediterranean holiday. There is so much lovely outdoor space wth so many tables to sit at and enjoy a coffe and the amazing views of the sea and coastline. The pool is a wonderful place to spend time, and the fridge by the pool is a lovely extra touch as are the 2 hammocks in addition to the sun beds. The steps down to the sea with a rocky access is wonderful for when you need a change from the pool. We also loved the cat family that were around and friendly but not intrusive. There is good shopping nearby in Porto Heli, and we were rather taken by the restaurants in the harbour of Ermioni. Porto Heli is quite a way from the main archaeological sites on the Pelopponnese and the roads are pretty winding so it isn't ideal for lots of sightseeing, but with such an amazing place to stay who needs to travel. A perfect holiday

Perfect Summer Holiday
My wife and I with our three children and another family had an amazing two weeks at Villa Irini. The location to the sea (30 private steps) means that you do not need to be constantly jumping in and out of a car. There is a good taverna on the beach only 3 minutes walk away. The villa sits in a spacious plot with a good-sized pool, a bar, table tennis table, basketball court, amazing vines, chilli plants, hammocks, a bbq, plenty of different relaxing areas so you never feel that the villa is overcrowded. There is also a cleaning service and breakfast daily and babysitting, lunches and evening suppers catered for on request. It really is the most magical place to visit and I could not recommend it more highly.

Simply stunning
We stayed at Villa Irini for two weeks with another family and couldn't have asked for a more perfect villa. The location unbeatable - amazing views, crystal clear sea, buzzy sandy beach we could walk and swim too and an excellent taverna . We enjoyed swimming the bay every morning. The pool area is brilliant, large pool and a great bar with shaded seating. They had recently added some hammocks which we all enjoyed our siesta in! The rooms are very comfortable, recently been redecorated, and we made the most of all the outside eating areas when hosting friends for supper. Wilson was wonderful, preparing breakfast every morning and cooking some excellent BBQs for us. The children made use of the ping pong table, basketball court and loved exploring the garden and playing with the cats. We felt totally privileged to be able to stay in this lovely family villa and to have been looked after so well.

stunning
We spent 2 weeks at villa Irini. When you arrive and see it from the beach, you just know that this is the place where you want to be. it's huge, and has enough space for two to three families to spend their holidays together without feeling crowded. The view is stunning. There is a great sand beach where you can go swimming with small children only 1 minute away (gentle slope for the small ones) and, if you want to avoid the swimming pool, there are stairs leading to a rock outcrop below the villa where you can take a dip in the sea - I loved doing that in the mornings.

About the neighbourhood
All year round, visitors will be able to attend a variety of festivals and summer events, in the surrounding area. Daily excursions are ideal for those seeking some getaway moments. Spetses – Hydra These islands are distinguished in modern, Greek history for their brave revolutionaries who played a major role in the Greek Revolution. On Spetses, visit the Bouboulina Museum, the stately home of a noble woman who was a famed revolutionary and, on Hydra, the stately homes of the freedom fighters Miaoulis and Koundouriotis. You can reach Spetses by local caiques & sea-taxis from Kosta harbor, 4km from the house. Hydra is accessible from Porto Heli harbor by catamaran. Ermione Located between Spetses and Hydra, Ermione, with its picturesque harbor, has kept the name of the ancient city once located on the same site. The name is derived from Greek mythology, the daughter of Menelaus and Helen of Troy. Kilada Kilada is approximately ten kilometers northwest of Porto Heli. A traditional, fishing village, it is noted for its famed boatyards and preservation of the traditional wooden fishing boat craft. Following the coastal road leading to the north end of the bay, you will arrive at the Frachthi cave, which was inhabited during the mid-Palaeolithic Age. (3000 B.C.)
