Subiaco, Greater Perth, Western Australia
The Daisy House is one of Subiaco's most unique properties, being designed and hand built by award winning Perth architect Brian Klopper in 1978.

Featured in “A Short History of Western Australian Architecture” by Geoffrey London, the Daisy House was one of the first homes in Western Australia to use recycled bricks in its construction and amazingly it also uses old steel railway line from the 1850?s as floor joists and door and window lintels. Old wooden telephone poles and giant wooden beams salvaged from the old Busselton jetty in our south west are also used throughout as structural features. The house takes its name from a beautiful large daisy leadlight window designed and built by Brian. It is truly an intriguing building.

The Daisy House is a 2 storey dwelling with 2 queen beds upstairs and is located in the western end of P...

This little house is brimming with character and is a delight to stay in. Sure, there were some things that didn't work as well as new construction and it was a bit chilly in the winter, but we found these to be minor compared to all the benefits of the Daisy House. The house was tastefully outfitted, and we found...

Stayed here over Xmas, had the best time, everything was in first class condition, so near shops and cafes, walked all over Subiaco shops and returned to Daisy Cottage exhausted. Once inside the gate felt refreshed enough to go out for dinner. Even a bus to town about 3 minutes walk from the door. Enough parking for 2 cars. Very...

About the neighbourhood
Without fail, the best part about Subiaco, and in particular this area of Subiaco, is the close proximity to all the services you could want or need. Plus the friendly local community. You will be nestled in amongst historic residential homes, large and small, fancy and quaint, strong and remodelled or slightly worn and a bit crooked - the area abounds in character. Full of restaurants, cafes, shops, parks and friendly locals, you will love your stay in Subiaco, whether for business or holiday.

In the heart of older Subiaco, Park Street runs east to Kings Park and west to Rokeby Road. It is only a short walk to Patterson Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval), 2km to the Perth CBD and 5km to delightful Matilda Bay and the University of Western Australia. Also the Perth Convention Centre, th...
