No need to get into a car to get provisions but a car is still essential for getting here and around the local sights. Great walks through the countryside and vines. Fantastic cycling routes including a 50kms cycle into Bordeaux along a disused converted railway line. Canoeing and kayaking on the river Dordogne at Pessac 2kms away. Please note - steep path and steps up to the property - open stone staircases inside. The tower is not suitable for children or anyone with reduced mobility.
