Beach is great, pool is very nice and not very crowded. You can play beach or pool volleyball, para-sail, participate in hotel activities or just relax. There are couple restaurants across the street that are good, convenient store that is very affordable or you can jump on the bus right outside and take a 10 min bus ride to the malls, other restaurants or downtown.

The Solymar is right on the bus line so you can hop on the bus for $1 and go downtown very easily. The beach and pool area were very nice but you will need to bring your own beach towels. The condo office staff were all so nice and check in and out went smoothly.

Do not be discouraged by the rough road there, it's worth the trip and the stay is amazing. They will provide you swimming pool towels for a refreshing dip in the pool. You can eat outside on the outside patio if you would like.
