In better weather, why not eat at the Pavilion at the Reichstag, as part of your cultural tour, or one of the many outdoor restaurants and cafes spread throughout the city? Bars, clubs and restaurants come in all shapes and forms throughout Berlin, to suit all budgets, and a little exploration will be likely to pay handsome dividends.
Family fun in Berlin
It may come as a surprise to many but Berlin is packed full of leisure and adventure parks for all the family. The Abenteuerspielplatz Forcki is an outdoor adventure park, with activities ranging from skateboarding, to climbing walls, to paddling pools. For younger children, the fairy tale themed Charlottenburg fur Kids may be more appropriate, which also has facilities for older children and adults. The best variety of all, however, may be obtained by visiting the two large parks to the North, Tegel and Lubars, where activities are suited to the season, be it summer or winter, and all sorts of adventures, games and pursuits are possible.
