Holiday Rentals near Norte Los Rodeos Airport

Tenerife, Spain
All Tenerife Rentals
Tenerife is a name which is well enough known to most British people who travel abroad. Those who have never actually visited the island, however, may not be entirely familiar with the diversity it affords, in terms of activities which can be undertaken and enjoyed and sights which it is possible to see. The vast majority of British visitors to Tenerife choose to rent their own, self-catering holiday apartments. This is testament to the fact that this provides the greatest level of opportunity for maximising time spent on the island and seeing and enjoying as much as possible of what it has to offer.
Tenerife has a great many different destinations which are available to holidaymakers. The most popular resort areas are Playa de Las Americas and Los Christianos in the south of the island, or Puerto de la Cruz in the north. All of these resorts offer extremely budget friendly rental apartments which allow visitors a free reign in planning their day to day activities. All have beautiful beaches and watersports facilities, as well as a range of restaurants, bars and nightclubs to suit the more sociably minded visitors. The Lago Martianez is a beach development which visitors to Puerto de la Cruz will not want to miss. It is a series of enclosed seawater pools, some designed for adults and others for children, which increase the safety and comfort of beach activities without compromising on fun.
Golfing in Tenerife
Tenerife is in many ways a golfer’s paradise. The area in the south of the island which is commonly referred to as Golf del Sur has accommodations and golf facilities to suit the sport’s top enthusiasts. Sunningdale Village, the Sunset View Club and the Royal Tenerife Country Club are just some of the destinations of this type. The area boasts a twenty-seven hole golf complex, as well as rental accommodations to suit all the family. There are tennis and squash courts, bars, restaurants serving fresh and delicious local produce, as well as the more traditional beach activities to be enjoyed. Access to the popular southern resorts is but a short, car rental journey away, allowing the non-golfing members of the family an opportunity to indulge their specific holiday requirements.
Sight seeing in Tenerife
Although many visitors may not realise it, there is a great deal more to see and do in Tenerife than laze around on the beach or party in the bars and nightclubs. The Natural and Human History Museum in Santa Cruz is but one of the island’s many museums. The museum features a fascinating range of archaeological exhibits, tracing the history of the island’s people and their culture through the ages. The Teide National Park is counted as one of the top visitor attractions in Spain and contains Mount Teide, an active volcano which is the third largest in the world. The scenery in the park is stunning and provides a very different aspect to your Tenerife holiday.
