Drake Bay, Costa Rica

i arrived in the Osa Peninsula in 1985 and began work at the Marenco Biological Station. Immediately I knew that I had found an incredible place where I wanted to spend the rest of my life. Working at Marenco for almost 17 years with biology professors and students, I learned to know and love this marvelous area both as a guide and as a resident. For the last 26 years I have guided nature tours for many other local tourist resorts including Casa Corcovado, Punta Marenco, Corcovado Tent Camp, and Cabinas Murillo. I have spent my life exploring the forests and beaches of the Osa Peninsula, always excited about what wonders I will find. In the last few years I have started my own business as an independent nature guide both within the Corcovado National Parks and Cano Island reefs, and to the many local nature sites around Drake Bay.
