a nurse practitioner from the northeastern United States who works with people with physical and intellectual disabilities, making me particularly conscious of the accessibility of places when I travel. I like to travel to places I have never been before. We have visited all seven continents (yes that includes Antarctica) I am always looking for a great travel deal. When on vacation, we like to do things that are unique to that area, whether it be snorkeling on a barrier reef, visiting an active volcano, visiting ancient ruins, holding and kissing sting rays - whatever! We like to eat food that is native to the area we are visiting, and try to enjoy the local cuisine as much a possible. We do not necessarily look for five star accommodations but are not adverse to staying in one if the price is right. We rely heavily on reviews on sites like Trip Advisor to help us choose our accommodations, dining places and activities/attractions.
