Have recently relocated to Inverness, Florida on the Gulf Coast. Here we are purchasing properties for renovation as vacation rentals for the area's numberous outdoor activity visitors. Citrus County, and Inverness are central many major attractions. Manatee tours, Gin-Clear Rivers, lakes, and many state and national forest.
Previously I lived and worked in the Upper Florida Keys since 1986. There have been changes over the years that some feel make the Keys not so "Keyszie" anymore. I think I'd have to agree about this; but, the quality of life there is unequaled elsewhere. The weather, access to the water for sailing , fishing, and diving, water quality (still best in USA!), good resturants, low crime, good schools all make living here easy and great. It was the added and excessive expenses of insurances for the home that made me decide that the Keys life is beyond the sensible cost of living.
