Since Mar 2005

65+ year old male

Sidney, Canada

Retired after "driving a desk" for 45 years but keeping busy volunteering in mostly nautical/boaty endeavours (I teach boating safety, navigation, etc.) and we (significant other) volunteer teaching/helping out in schools in any area to which we travel. Latest endeavour is helping teach sailing/safe boating to kids in West Indies. In the tropics we love local history, and our neighbours whoever they may be, generally staying a month or more where ever we land. Strongly suggest to anyone reading this and heading to a less advantaged area, always bring an old suitcase fully of school supplies for kids and stuff for the teachers. Cheers, R and L.
