Born to a humble scupper smithy in Fatal Falls, Massachusetts, I was raised mainly on swiss-cheese holes and horse chestnuts. As a young boy my only toys were gravity and an occasional gust of wind. In my teenage years I apprenticed with a local maker of Zeppelin tethers until I entered Harvard where I studied Pseudology. This inevitably led to a lifelong fascination with neo-Calvinism and a brief stay in IHOM, a Utopian community of devout Methodists. Having graduated from college, the siren call of the West lured me to Pittsfield, MA and later California;where men are men ... and sometimes other things. There, I settled down in the quaint village of San Sabelt, California where I made a modest, yet unlivable wage as a pseudo marketing consultant. During my travels I once visited the town of Eureka, CA, where I had several Eureka moments, including the startling recognition that Eureka is an incredible dump on an otherwise beautiful coastline.
