Since Dec 2006

65+ year old male

Palos Verdes Estates, California

My wife and I are affluent, have traveled and continue to travel extensively. We are at that stage in our lives where we enjoy both the exotic and unusual but also enjoy the standard cosmopolitan destinatoins (NYC, London, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Shanghai, etc.) We try to take three major international trips per year, a couple of trips to Hawaii where we have a vacation condo and which we continue to love despite the increased tourism, and three or four domestic trips to San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, etc. Wherever we go we try to stay at high-end properties and at those properties try to find the "special" suites that offer something exceptional in terms of views, location, esthetics, etc. We are much more likely to be found in a suite at a Waldorf-Astoria, Ritz-Carlton, Peninsula, St. Regis, Le Meridian, Conrad, Westin or Four Seasons than a room at a Hilton or Hyatt. Mariott, Radison, Embassy Suites, etc. are not likely to happen unless traveling with our teenager.
