50-64 year old male

My wife and I are retired soldiers who were bitten by the travel bug while we were in the service. Sometimes my wife and I travel alone and sometimes we bring along other family members who also love to travel, exploring new places people and cultures. We don't have a lot of money so we travel economically when possible. We try to stay in nice yet affordable lodging, and eat in good to great restaurants without breaking the bank. We check out all kinds of attractions, ones for the young "like for the Grand babies" and also more mature options as well, from caves to castles and everything in between. Cruise ships are great, but our favorite adventure to date was renting an RV in England and driving it all over Scotland for 30 days. The people we met were wonderful, the attractions were fantastic, and the food was fun some was excellent and some was, sorry Scotland but you can keep the "haggis". Just returned from Australia, rented a topper van for 12 days it was awesome!
